Leobardo Bañuelos Jr is an artist living and working in Seattle, WA. He can be often be found at the front row of a drag show participating in swift flash action photography - unless there’s fog, he hates fog. In the summer, he is politely asking people at the nude beach if he can take their portrait. He’s a freak for the familiar and the unfamiliar. Leo loves to eat food he can’t afford (Taurus), sit at the bar and befriend a group of strangers including the staff. He’s your younger brother, your lovely nosy neighbor and maybe not your confidant because he’s a chatty kathy.

His work spans from videography, editing, design, art direction, and photography. It’s often irreverent, sometimes intimate, but mostly provocative. Subjects such as skateboarders, drag queens, and family members. The tangibility of his art is important to his practice and the reason why books and zines have been at the forefront.
